On occasion I have written small marketing pieces for different companies. I don't consider myself a marketing specialist, or a salesman. I am not the kind of person who can sell iceboxes to eskimos. In fact, I despise that kind of selling.

However, I am the kind of person who loves to help a client find what they need or meet their needs. In this regard, and by building strong relationships with my clients whenever possible, I have had great success. This hearkens back to one of my core values: that people are more important than things.

My task was to write a number of papers the CEO and senior management could take to trade shows. Beyond a page length and general topic, I was given free reign.
